The Rum
Panamanian rums are high-quality rums based on expertise and centuries-old production techniques.
Panama molasses rum: column-distilled, aged for 2-3 years in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels.
Connoisseurs will appreciate the spicy flavors of these high-quality rums. -
Origins
A Central American country, Panama is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Caribbean Sea to the east.
Best known for its strategic location and its canal, Panama is also a country renowned for its rum. Sugarcane fields are plentiful in the province of Herrera, where they benefit from the influence of the sea and fertile volcanic soils, as well as mineral-rich mountain springs.
Panama is therefore truly a land of rum. Panamanian rum rivals those of its Caribbean neighbors such as Cuba.
Tasting Notes
-
APPEARANCE
Clear appearance with a golden color and a bright, clear disc. An attractive appearance.
-
FLAVORS
This is a particularly complex and rounded rum with an exceptional aromatic richness, featuring notes of spices such as cinnamon and dried fruits such as apricot and prune. A very pastry-like character blends with vanilla. A well-integrated woody character releases notes of blond tobacco and roasted cocoa. Then the glass opens up with sweetness, revealing notes of honey and almond.

IN THE GLASS
Very lively on the palate, then opening up with spices and dried fruits, giving it a rather bold character in terms of alcohol strength and aromas. A very delicate woody character, with sweetness on the mid-palate and a very long finish with notes of wood and tobacco.
