Origins
A Central American country, Panama is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the West and the Caribbean Sea on the East.
Panama is well known for its strategic position thanks to its canal, but also famous for its rum. The fields of cane are numerous in the province of Herrera, they are influenced by the sea and benefit from fertile volcanic soils and minerals coming from the mountain springs.
Panama is therefore a land of rum. Panamanian rum competes with its Caribbean neighbors such as Cuba.
Tasting Note
APPEARANCE - Clear golden color with a clear disk. An attractive color.
IN THE NOSE - It is a complex rum, particularly round with an exceptional aromatic richness that gives notes of spices, like cinnamon and dried fruits with apricot, prune. A very pastry side is mixed with vanilla. A highly integrated woodiness that releases notes of blond tobacco and roasted cocoa. The more the glass is aired, the more we reach the sweetness of honey and almond.
IN THE MOUTH - Very lively in the entrance of the mouth, then opens up spices and dried fruits which gives it a rather sharp attack on the power of alcohol and aromas. A very delicate woodiness, sweetness in the middle of the mouth and a nice long finish based on wood and tobacco.
