The Rum
This blend was created around the bold idea of combining two styles of rum production: the French and the English traditions.
Our Cellar Master has skilfully drawn on the rich flavours of pure cane juice white rum from the French Antilles, distilled in a column still, and married them with two molasses rums from Barbados: a white rum distilled in a column still and a rum produced through double pot still and column distillation, aged for 3 years in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels. -
Origins
The French Antilles are renowned for producing exceptional rums made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice.
Barbados is equally renowned for producing high-quality molasses-based rums using blends of double pot still and column distillation.
Tasting Notes
-
APPEARANCE
Very clear, with a pale straw colour while remaining remarkably bright and limpid.
-
FLAVORS
Smooth and warm, with notes of dried banana, vanilla and melted caramel. This blend combines the pure cane juice rum from the French Antilles, bringing pronounced notes of sugar cane, lemon and pepper, with Barbados rum, which adds notes of liquorice and leather. A highly expressive nose with a distinct bourbon wood character.

IN THE GLASS
After a rather lively and vibrant attack, the very well-balanced body develops a broad aromatic palette: butterscotch, vanilla, enhanced by a subtle spicy touch. The overall profile is quite smooth, almost sweet from the cane sugar, leading languorously towards a woody finish. Well balanced, with an opening in the English style, a mid-palate in the French style, and a finish offering a beautiful blend of both.
